Kollider Kids Returns & Refund Policy

At Kollider Kids, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Returns & Refund Policy is designed to comply with applicable South African consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA") and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECT Act").

1. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged on arrival, incorrect, or not fit for its intended purpose, please notify us within 7 days of delivery.

In accordance with the CPA, customers have the right to return defective goods within 6 months of delivery. Where a product is found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault and not misuse, abuse, accidental damage, neglect, or normal wear and tear, you may choose one of the following remedies:

• A repair;
• A replacement; or
• A full refund.

Kollider Kids reserves the right to inspect returned products to verify the reported defect before processing a refund, replacement, or repair.

2. Change of Mind Returns

We understand that sometimes customers change their minds.

For non-defective products, return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

To qualify for a change-of-mind return:

• The item must be unused and in resalable condition;
• The item must be returned in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and included items;
• The item must show no signs of use, damage, alteration, or missing components.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns.

Once the returned item has been inspected and approved, a refund will be processed less any applicable delivery or collection costs incurred by Kollider Kids where permitted by law.

3. Products That Cannot Be Returned

For health, safety, and quality-control reasons, the following items may not be returned unless defective:

• Opened consumables or refill materials;
• Products damaged through misuse, abuse, negligence, modification, or improper storage;
• Products missing essential parts, accessories, manuals, or packaging;
• Clearance, promotional, or final-sale items where specifically stated at the time of purchase;
• Customised or personalised products made to customer specifications.

4. 3D Printing Pen Safety and Usage

The Kollider Kids™ 3D Creative Engineering Pen is intended for use according to the supplied instructions.

Returns will not be accepted where defects or damage result from:

• Incorrect voltage or power supply usage;
• Accidental dropping, impact, or water damage;
• Blockages caused by incorrect filament usage;
• Improper maintenance or cleaning;
• Normal wear and tear.

5. Online Purchase Cooling-Off Rights

In accordance with the ECT Act, customers purchasing products online may be entitled to cancel certain transactions within 7 days of receiving the goods.

Returned items must be unused, complete, and in their original condition.

Where applicable, customers may be responsible for the cost of returning the goods. Refunds will only be processed once the returned products have been received and inspected.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method used for the purchase.

Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.

Bank processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

• Photographs (if the item is damaged or defective)

Returns sent without prior approval may experience delays in processing.

8. Shipping Costs

Defective or Incorrect Products

Kollider Kids will cover reasonable return shipping costs where the product is confirmed to be defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrectly supplied.

Change of Mind Returns

Customers are responsible for all return shipping and insurance costs.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
